Laughing does not cause insanity. It could be a sign of a medical imbalance, so anyone with that symptom should have a complete medical exam.

Do you mean if you laugh and even you don't know why you're laughing? People can laugh about various things. Being nervous or in a stressful situation can cause people to laugh, and of course, laughter sometimes be contagious. Here's an example. I was in a room once where I started laughing after thinking of something funny. Then the person next to me asked me why I was laughing but within moments began laughing, too (without hearing my reason). Then another person began laughing and then another until the entire room was filled with laughter. Even after a couple of minutes people were laughing and asking each other, "Why are we laughing?" and replying, "I don't know," but the laughter continued for a few more minutes until eventually the laughter began dying down. Does that mean that everyone but me was insane? I don't think so.

inappropiate laughing is an indicator of schizophrenia. there needs to be other indicators, six other indictors would need to be identifiable for one to be clinically insane. many sane and normal people have a few indicators.

I like to engage in hysterical bouts every once in a while just to laugh. There can't be anything wrong with that.

Possibly. I think I'm insane when I have near hysterical bouts of laughter at bad times...like weddings, funerals, church or I'm getting yelled at by my superiors.

Hahahahaha, that sounds a lot like myself. I think it's because I use marijuana and have used many psychedelic drugs. It took me a while to be comfortable and outgoing about my misunderstood laughter. Sometimes I wonder if people think i am a schitzo.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLLOLOLOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. probably not. you might just have a nervous condition, a warped sense of humor, or just be incredibly happy for no explicable reason. but there is a possibility you could be a hebephrenic schizophrenic. its hard to say based on hysterical bouts of laughter alone.

I have pretty crazy bouts of laughter sometimes it can be very embarrassing. I can usually tell when a bout of laughter is about to hit because anything at that point will make me laugh....For example I am in class. The teacher says "the computers main response is to shut down the program" (I'm just making up anything right now)..So in my mind i think of a computer smiling and shutting down the program and then i will just burst into laughter so much my abs hurt, my back hurts, i will cry myself to tears. In the beginning everyone smiles and goes "whats gotten into him" but after about 5 minutes (especially if this is your second or third time in front of them) they will find it....less amusing. It can be a REAL problem trust me. I also break out in hives due to urticaria when i laugh.... So what I've found isnt really much....It could be because your motor neurons are degrading possibly a sign of lou gherigs disease initial stages, just some kind of brain degradation, severed nerve contacts...or more likely a type of bi-polarism or mania...look those up on wikipedia...Everyone has bouts of mania to a degree some or more some are less. More likely if you are laughing uncontrollably then u are like me...I feel like im a NORMAL person (im not crazy) but i do get happy quickly, and depressed quickly. I have weeks where i am very goal oriented and then i crash. If you find the difinitive term please let me know!
