  • yes 2 min
  • To get hard boiled eggs I go for 10mins. So I would go about 1/2 that time....???? +4 for question. :)
  • 2-3 minutes.
  • It depends on the size of the egg. For a small egg 3 minutes and 35 seconds, a medium egg 4 minutes and for a large egg about 4 minutes and 25 seconds . (Thats if you carefully put the egg in the pan after the water has reached the boil so that the shell doesnt break-add a bit of salt to seal any small cracks) That way the white should be hard and the yolk runny. Hope it works out ok for you (Thats about how long I do them for). If you put the egg in from when the water is cold you only need to let it boil for 3-1/2 minutes but you cant time it as exact because the length of time it takes for the water to boil will vary.
  • There are a lot of factors involved here! The temperature of the egg, how many eggs are cooking, how much egg to water ratio you have, etc. Instructions usually call for the water to already be boiling when you put the egg in a two-minute egg may leave your white a little runny but this would also depend on how quickly you take the egg out of the water after your cooking time is up, whether you put it directly into the refrigerator or you let it cool on the counter, or in the pan of water. I like my white solid my yolk runny I boil the water I put in two eggs I let them cook for 3 minutes take them out crack them and eat them with a little butter that's how I like them.
  • Linda you have made me hungry for some 3 minute eggs.
