You made a small mistake. The original number in the book of revelations was 616. It was changed somewhere around the time of the Council at Nicaea to 666, the sum of the numeric value of the letters in Nero Ceasar to suggest he was the anti-christ. 616 references Gaius Ceasar the ceasar that appointed Pontius Pilate as Prefect of Judea. Pontius Pilate, obviously, was much more likely to be seen as the anti-christ since he was the man that sentences Jesus to death. Romans wanted this change because they basically wanted to forget that Gaius Ceasar ever existed (he was the insane ceasar for less than 4 years that had his horse made a senator, had his armies attach the sea and defiled the senator's wives and daughters and was commonly known as Caligula). So, basically, you have a tatooed prevarication. Good luck with that.
-
I wouldn't. If I got a tatoo it would be something classy, but badass, and very me at the same time.
-
I won't believe it until you take a pic and post it
-
No, as Schroeder says, it's meaningless.
-
I would for shock but I out grew it.
-
no way! never. im not religious, im Agnostic but i still wont have a tattoo of that. no offense to satanists out there but not for me.
-
Suely there must be a reason behind it for you. What does the tattoo mean to you?
-
Ironically, your tattoo represents one of my rules on what NOT to get as a tattoo. 1) Never put someone's name on your body unless you came out of their body or they came out of yours. (RIP's are OK.) 2) Never have symbols of hate or death tattooed on you. No grim reapers, swastikas, etc. 3) No devils (I don't care how cute). 4) Nothing trendy. Try explaining Sponge Bob when you're 80. 5) Nothing on your neck between your clavicle and your chin. Even if you want to have a wild and crazy side when your shirt is off, try getting a decent job with a piece that cannot be covered by a shirt during business hours. 6) No swear words. I have seven tattoos and love them all. I am planning my eighth - an RIP to my mom.
-
I did. Because I was un-officially getting married at that date (06-06-06). :)

No, but I met a guy with a whole lot of tattoos like that. Caused him a bit of a problem when he became a Christian ... I also met another guy who tattooed his girlfriend's name on his arm. Came a bit of a problem when they split, but he was crazy enough to just cut the name out of his arm. (Don't ask me how, I only saw the results, not the method!) I still don't understand why so many people aren't smart enough to work this out for themselves!
-
I don't know. but i have 666 tattoo on my right arm..lol
-
I got a 667 tattoo. (the neighbour of the beast)
-
haha awesome mann. Id get it too for a few reasons. The Number of the Beast from Iron Maiden is one of my favorite songs and 666 reminds me of metal and i truly adore heavy metal

-
Are you sure it's not a 999 tattoo? The tattoo artist might have made a mistake, you know.
-
NEVER...i do not need anymore bad luck. Maybe 777
-
Is it on your scalp? If so then maybe as a joke but never visible.
-
