It can certainly become meaningful. I know people who have strong relationships online. It is easier, however, to hurt and deceive someone online when you do not have to see their face, so online relationships should be approached with care.
-
Yes, it can be "meaningful".
-
I had such relationship. Now we are married the tradition continues.
-
I really think for it too be meaningful you have to have face to face communication, cause anybody can just write stuff too right stuff.
-
i suppose, but really it's more meaningful in person. i can't really oppose to it because one of my best friends is online and he's really great to talk to but that's about it. remember that you can only take the realtionship so far.
-
Absolutely! What ever could be more meaningful that an e-mail or a text message?
-
Absolutely, people have been doing it for 100's of years, only it was writing letters.

How so Lori K?
-
no! it will never work out. it may for like the first week, but seriously if you never get to see eachother and you never go on dates, just not being there with the one you love is painful enough..sorry to say that..its happened to me before.
-
I think so. I have a friend who was talking to someone through text and e mail for years. She finally went to see her about 2 years ago and apparently it was amazing! She still talks to her and is going to see her again soon. :) I say if having it this way makes you happy theres nothing wrong with it!
-
No No and NO!! At least I don't believe so.
-
Depends on the two people involved. If all you need is written words to sustain your relationship kudos!! If you want to take the relationship to another level I think the verbal word and face to face communication would have to come into play at some point.
-
i dont see why not
-
Not if they "only" communicate that way.
-
In some relationships, that is all there is for whatever reason.
-
No. An honest relationship is someone you date in person. You are not dating online. At best all you have is an electronic pen pal.
