I don't know. I can do it sober. Also, I never drink and drive...
-
Heck, I can't even do it sober...
-
depending on how wasted i was,,lol
-
No,An Like wiz said, I couldnt do it if i was sober
-
They ask you that to see if you will attempt it, because a sober person would say I can't do it, and a drunk person would try to do it!
-
I have to really think about it while I'm sober and I've had a few beers right now so I'm not sure. I think I'd have to think even harder.. hehe.
-
No way! Like others here.....I can't do it sober. hahahahaha
-
no i cant even do it sober
-
I would have a better chance if I was drunk in saying it backwards. I now suggest that all cops and state troopers keep a case of beer in their trunks for this purpose.
-
There's no such field sobriety test as "saying the alphabet backwards." It's a myth. Cops don't ask people to do that.
-
Could he? Would he even know the difference?
-
Hell I can't say it backwards sober! hahahaha
-
I cant do that sober.
-
No, but if my wife was driving and he asked her to hop in a straight line we would be home free because she can do that even when she can't walk in a straight line. Don't they have breath test kits where you live, the police haven't done that sort of thing where I have lived since the 1960s.
-
No. I was told once by an officer that the test is mostly to see if you'd try. Sober people usually say no I'm not going to do that I'll fail.
-
No, I would eat the cop instead.
-
It's a helluva struggle trying to say it backswards when I'm sober...I'm screwed!
-
I can't do that sober!lol
-
write this down and then practice saying: "tebahpla eth"
-
Stating the alphabet backwards, is not part of the field sobriety test. And no, i cannot say it backwards, even stone sober.
-
I can't even say it sober.
-
no I wouldn't be driving drunk and no I couldn't say the alphabet backwards.
-
I can do it. When I was 19 someone told me to practice it. So I wrote the alphabet backwards on a sheet of paper and memorized it. I also practiced counting backwards so that I can do it on command. The counting did come in handy once when I was pulled over and borderline drunk. He let me go with a warning, but I had to let my friend drive.
-
Are you kidding? I can't do it sober
-
Only if he says the alphabet backwards himself first
-
im trying as we speak and i cant has anyone seen that video of some lady CHP giving random test to some drunk guy
-
I couldn't do it even if I was sober.
-
I can't even do it when i am sober.
-
its the only way i can say it! it rhymes really well that way around so its much simpler
-
not no, but hell no! hahahahaahah i can 't even do it sober.
-
No...I could never do that, no matter how many drinks I'd had.
-
absolutely I've practiced lol
-
I can't say it sober either
-
Hell! I can't do that SOBER! LOL!
-
no and neither could I do it if I was sober
-
This seems to be some kind of urban legend. I was trained to have people recite the alphabet from a starting point such as starting with the letter C and ending with a point such as the letter X, without "singing" the alphabet song, and to have them count backwards from say 44 to 21. I think that people have combined the two tests to come up with a reason as to why they were determined to be under the influence, making the test seem impossible.
-
i would hope so but i NEVER EVER drive while under the influence so I shouldn't have to worry about that!
-
I would not even try say the alphabet backwards. For more DUI tips: http://www.orangeduilaw.com
