  • Outdated and totally laughable.
  • Racism of any kind... from the whites, from the blacks, or from any color is more than just outdated-- it should never be part of our world... period!
  • When was their ideology ever in season? Hate is always hate.
  • Its outdated because most of us just grew up and evolved from supporting stupid sh*t like the KKK.
  • No, the KKK's backwards ideology has absolutely nothing to do with globalization and everything to do with racism, bigotry and religion zealousy
  • Globalization typically doesn't affect backwater hick towns where the KKK thrives.
  • The KKK were outdated the min they opened their mouths! Lukily we dont have the KKK in England but we do have to put up with the bigots in the BNP (British National Party) spewing the same filth.
  • "All it takes for evil to succeed is for a few good men to do nothing"? I agree that Hendrick V has the right to free speech, its just a pity the message descriminates against my little sister.
  • lol...not to THEM (or other racists for that matter). I imagine many are positively LIVID that a black man now sits in the White House. New KKK membership is probably at an all time high.
  • I think it is, unfortunately, they probably don't. And their feelings, with a little tweaking, are rampant in this world, look at all the struggles around the globe that boil down to skin color, or heritage. Turks, Kurds, Iranians, Iraqis, Russians and all the breakoff countries from the old USSR, Isreal, Hamas, ALL the various colors and fights in Africa. Sad, really.
  • I don't think it ever had a date. Globalization has nothing to do with it.
  • I think that in general the world has come to its senses regarding the KKK - I wasn't aware that the KKK even EXISTED anymore.. It saddens me that some people can be so deluded and blind. I think racism as the outright hatred of other races only thrives in a minority of deprived individuals, whereas racism as in the -fear- of other cultures still exists. However the consequences of fear based racism aren't as serious. On top of that, fear based racism is based on conspiracies and propoganda that only the idiots follow anyway. Either that, or I've just grown up in a *really* shielded environment... I have a lot of respect for black/asian people, the ones I have met have, for the most part, been amiable, good natured people, and it upsets me that other people fail to recognise that.
  • I dunno about the KKK in particular, I think but many xenophobes will be further inflamed by globalization - they'll have to deal with and compete with people they fear / are ignorant of.
  • I think they always have been archaic.
  • If im right it started towards the end of the civil war when the south was realizing it was losing and rebels were walking off the line and surrendering and such and so a few die hards started raiding towns with their face covered and yadda yadda became the klan and they are still the outlaws today that they always were spreading hate and lies hiding behind their sheets so yes their ideology ended when the North won the civil war just some didnt get the memo i suppose.
  • Nah - it is outdated because evolution has moved the rest of the human race on.
  • The simple fact that Barack Hussein Obama is President of America speaks volumes
  • Totally outdated in its ideals and ignorance.
  • Sure I think they were outdated from the git go. That aside, they are still alive and well and doing their nasty work on Blacks in the South and elsewhere.
  • Yeah, but they're a big time anachronism. Anyone under the age of 50 who's a part of that shit should be WAY ashamed of themselves for not finding something better to do with their time.
