It was some mixture of water and chopped, uncooked vegies when I was...well a while ago anyway. I do remember making pancake syrup while my bro would make pacakes...fun times. :)

The first genuine, real dinner-type thing I ever cooked on my very own was beef stroganoff. The first think that I technically cooked on my own was the orange stuff from the big blue box - Kraft dinner!

Ice pops made of water, sugar, cocoa, sour cream and blue food color. Mix it all up, put it in an icecube tray. Lay saran wrap over it and stick toothpicks in each pop. My parents let me experiment from a very very young age.

I don't remember the first thing I cooked, but I do remember making "healthy muffins". My parents used to feed these "healthy muffins" to the squirrels. My father said the squirrels would throw them back.."yuck, take that...."

I think it was grilled cheese, but I wouldn't be surprised if I'd call my mom up to find out and she'd say, "cereal," lol. Still my favorite thing to eat to this day- plus it's easy to make :)

when my parents would go out, I used to put butter on two slices of bread, and put cheese and onion on one, then place the other on top, butter side down. I would fry on both sides....mmmmmmmmmm

Cereal! Dead easy. Just put the milk by the packet! Go et a bowl and mix the two together.

i fried a fish while my mom was looking on. the day before i read about it in class and i was pleasantly surprised of how good it came out.

Believe it or not it was fried chicken done in an electric skillet. I was 15 and I cleaned house for my mothers cousin. On day she asked me if I would cook dinner and, without telling her I had never cooked (I watched tho) I went ahead and did it. No mishaps, nothing burned and I made mashed potatoes and gravy and peas to go with it. Thanks for bringing back that memory. I was so proud.

I guess it could be legally called Mac and cheese but I didn't realize that you had to drain the mac from the water before I added the cheese. Needless to say, it was thrown away.

Well, I started cooking at such a very young age I've no idea what the first thing I actually cooked on the stove was... BUT I do remember being about 3 or 4 years old and I got a chair, some bread, peanut butter and grape jelly and I made my own PBandJ sandwich. It took me forever b/c I kept trying to smooth our the lumps of jelly and I kept making holes in the bread, lol. I still thoroughly enjoyed it b/c I made it myself ;)

Well when I was 13, I decided to surprise my mom and step dad with breakfast in bed. I made what was supposed to be sausage rolls in a biscuit. Only I didn't cook the sausage before I rolled it in the biscuit dough... It turned out awful. and I ended up getting in trouble for cooking without an adult in the kitchen with me... I've very much improved my culinary skills since then. Thank God.
