I find intense/passionate peole much easier to relate to, and usually more interesting, and in most cases, able to keep up with me in a conversation.

Emotional and intense people, I relate to them very easily and we generally have very interesting conversations.

Both can certainly be 'trying', but I can only be around a superficial person for so long before my eyes glaze over. At least the intense person keeps me alert, lol. And, if they happen to be intense about something that actually has substance and meaning, all the better.

I have no time or intetest in superficial people.
