-

-
No. I never thought of that. The only newspaper I have saved was from 9/11.
-
Nope-today's newspaper was delivered just like every other day. And it will go the way of all newspapers in my house-the recycle bin.
-
No I bought a beer instead.
-
No... And technically, Obama isn't even the president yet. The Electoral College votes on December 15.
-
I bought 2 newspapers. One to read, one to seal in plastic to save as an heirloom.
-
No, because I have saved so many newspapers from so many historical events (JFK assasination), moonwalk, etc., because I thought my grandchildren would someday perhaps use them for reports, etc. But they haven't, so now I'm not saving papers anymore.
-
hi, sweet T, babieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ... they were all sold out!! ... darn it ... people bought multiple copies ... LoLz ... ^_^
-
The REAL collectors item with be the paper that documents President-Elect Obama taking the oath of the Presidency.
-
No, I didn't. I think I've saved other newspapers chronicling historic events but I haven't looked at them since I put them away. I stopped subscribing to the Los Angeles Times a few years ago because I got tired of the deluge of paper and the ink that always came off on my hands. However, I voted for Barack and his victory is historically monumental. With my mental faculties as they are now I don't think I'll ever forget its significance or the date (my father was born on November 4th). Actually, if I ever developed some kind of memory loss I'd be more likely to forget where I put the newspaper than this event. ;) Have you procured a November 5th newspaper yet? If not, perhaps if you contact a newspaper they could sell you an unsold printing. If there aren't any available, perhaps you could buy the related edition of Newsweek, Time, The Nation, etc.
-
I read the paper everyday,so yes ,does it matter, go ahead make a big deal out of it .
-
We subscribe so we didn't have to go out and buy one. Definitely a Keeper! :) ((hugs))
-
No, unfortunately, I didn't. I only subscribe to the weekend paper, and the November 5th paper sold out everywhere really fast!
-
No I couldn't afford one the day before or for that matter the last 5 years.
-
no Sweet T I didn't
-
No but I should have, now I am depressed that I didnt get one.
