2.17 on the way n2 work this morning n Ohio. What's funny is some1 about a year ago told me to just wait and c....he said that as the election draws closer the republicans who r so tied n 2 these oil companies who have been screwing us and robbing us @ the tank 4 quite a few years now would kno that their time has come to an end and that the public is fed up with all this b.s espeacially since bush and cheney a r so tied n 2 the oil industry. And as a ploy 2 try 2 win over support 4 their party they would actually bring the gas prices down. Wow true or not.....it really played out like he said. And c ing how exxon and them r going 2 get billions n tax cuts if mccain gets elected, then yeah I could c it being a plausible belief. Kinda like a u scratch r back 4 a few months now and we'll not only give u these billions but also let u run rampant on the country 4 another 4 years sorta thing. I can't prove ne of those accusations, but u can't deny that the man wasn't exactly right about what was going 2 happen.

It went from about 4.50 down to 1.30..it has gone back up 10 cents a gallon in less than 24 hours

I saw 1.66 a gallon at one station - 1.77 was the lowest it went at the Shell near where I live and where I always get gas. At this station, it went back up recently to 1.81. I don't think I remember it ever being so low since my husband and I got married back in 1992. VERY STRANGE - but not complaining! We were paying, at the VERY most, 4.98 (and 9/10) just a few months ago.
