• I don't even know what a bcm is. Have you ever had to have the lock popped from the outside because you locked your keys inside, perhaps? I've learned from experience that if this happens to you then you want to have a door other than the driver's door be the one to be popped. Sometimes the process of popping the lock disables the 'automatic' features of the door locks. So have it be the passenger's door, or (in a 4-door sedan) the rear door on the curb side (the one that the driver needs to access least).
