• Harassment? Insufficient information. You may have agreed to allow the HOA access to your property to inspect for code violations and other compliance issues. If you are in violation, they have every right to "make your life miserable" until you correct any deficiency. You probably do not have any right to sue under these circumstances. Contact a legal aid service in your area, if you feel that you have sufficient grounds. They will inform you as to the validity of your claim and any cost for their services.
