It's probably just a cultural thing. You know - how it's not cool to admit to be into something that is popular? Even if you're actually into it yourself. For the record, I do not have a Myspace account. I have no interest in one. But I have nothing against them. I do have a blog though.

Maybe they feel like it's this bus they have to catch... even when it's full of idiots.
-
because hardly ever "everyone" is "everyone". Because we try to extrapolate what we know to the universe and that's never a good approach, many people hate myspace and many people love myspace, many more than that use myspace.
-
Well, i got persuaded by an online friend.
-
I DO NOT have Myspace . Primarily because I am much to lazy to do it, secondly I do not know how to make it attractive and thirdly I think alot of them are just sheer self indulgence.
-
I've noticed that people who are just average and just surf the net love myspace and people who work with the net (programmers, designers, etc...) hate myspace. just the way it works i guess.
-
Well, everyone doesn't have one. Most people that do have it don't like it. I realyl don't like it anymore. You can barely go onto people's profiles because they are marked private or they have soo much crap on the profile it kills the computer. I use it mainly to keep intouch with people from my past. That is all. That might be why everyone has it.
-
I don't like it particularly, and I also do not have a My Space account.
-
People who dislike myspace might be left out of this internet culture, and would want to join and be like everyone else. "Cool". It doesn't mean they like it, just that they force themselves to join in the group and like it, they want to fit it. And yes, I have a myspace.
-
I use myspace mostly to listen do new bands and find different music out there; it's pretty amazing the different variety of bands you can find. I also plan to promote my own music one day.
-
I don't think "everyone" hates it, or else it would not be so popular, and neither does "everyone" have one. My elder daughter does, but not my younger one. I do not. My husband does not. But we see the good points of such sites.
-
Didn't you know? Hating myspace is the in thing this season. Unfortunately having a myspace was the in thing last season. Once enough people hate it it'll become cool again I'm sure.
-
I DON'T like it and I will not register. Whenever friends ask me to get a myspace I refuse. It is just so stupid. If they want to contact me or talk im quite happy to communicate via: phone, mobile, sms, msn, email... why do we need stupid online blogging and myspace.
-
I think the people who hate myspace are those who are not happy with the fact that they dont have many friends, not that popular, dont get a response from people they email or something along those lines. The people who are opposite of this are not complaining. Its a website! Take it for what it is.
-
I don't hate Myspace. I have one.
-
I dont have one, there full of crap!
-
I DON'T have one, and I'm in the target audience, 17 yr old. I can't be bothered making it interesting and attractive, and I don't want to follow the trend, as most teen pages are shallow and uninspiring.
-
Myspace is a relationship breaker....period...
-
i have one because i am a musician, and myspace is a good way to put my music on the internet. although it is pretty fucken annoying how myspace claims to not compress the music when they, in fact, compress the hell out of it.
-
Everyone doesn't.
-
Because society demands it.
-
I'm abandoning MySpace real soon.
-
everyone doesn't - I dont.
-
because there drunk
-
I don't have a MySpace page. I did, but was pushed off when my former best friend trashed it.
-
Count me as a non-myspacer :o)
-
People think it's cool to hate.
-
Well I'm canceling mine real soon, since I've grown to hate it.
-
Sheep.
-
I don't have a myspace page, and I have no desire to ever have one. Seems silly. Some of my friends talk about how they took so and so off their myspace and now they wern't talking. It just seems lame.
-
I wanted to get to know what it was like, its capabilities, its security, so that when my child approaches me about getting a MySpace account, I'm not saying "My What? What is that?". Knowledge is power.
