  • Personally, I've heard (and am going for) genetic testing. From what little I know the test looks for genetic markers that tell the doctor (Oncologist) that you are or are not predisposed to cancer.
  • Genetic testing is for breast cancer and cervical cancer. Your monthly self breast exams and regular mammograms and colonoscopy would be a regular test for cancer chest x-Ray for lung cancer, biopsy of tissue prostate exams are a regular test for cancer your doctor would know what they all are. Ask them when you get your annual exams.
