Electricity was harnessed in the late 1800's. Humans have been around a lot longer. Yes people can live just fine without modern technology.

Yeah, people can. A world without technology could not support anywhere near the amount of people as we have now, but we wouldn't go extinct.

That depends upon your understanding of the word Technology. Even an ordinary wheel is Technology. But if we restrict our needs to bare minimum we can certainly live a satisfied life of happiness without scientific advancements.

Probably not without fire and agriculture, but certainly without all the mechanical and electronic doodads that have been developed the last two hundred or so years. Of course, only healthy people could, those with mechanical assistance issues or needing inoculation or medical procedures couldn't.

People lived for centuries w/o technology--but to be only a single person or a group living without it today would be difficult if not impossible. If everyone is without it again, yes.

There is a movement to get back to nature and people are getting away from electricity ,conventional plumbing,TV's etc and living like they did in the 1800's.

well i know for a fact that i cannot live without technology cause i use a phone, computers so cant live without it

With this day and age where we get used to it, I think it's hard to adjust but it is possible to live without these things.

of course! I often wish times were much simpler, if much of the technology we use today was never invented, we would never miss it

We can it just will take a long time adjusting. Before we didnt know what it was like to have technology. Now that we do it will be that much harder without it. Technology makes us weak.

can they, yes. would they want to... probably not. technology is crucial to our very survival. the most important technology that we've discovered so far would be agriculture. if we had to go back to a world without this most important of technologies, billions would perish
