Yes, I do.
-
Yes, a lot, it's my favorite word.
-
Yep. Maybe a hundred times or more on this site alone.
-
I say "Sir" alot. From being in the military.
-
Seems like I do. Hey, thanks for asking. Whoa, there I go again.
-
I say thank you whenever it is appropriate to say thank you. It is only polite and respectful.
-
yup :) When i need to.. maybe a few times when its not completley necessary :P
-
i say it many times every day but i notice more and more people 'never' say please or thankyou courtesy costs nothing my nan always told me to "treat others how you would like to be treated yourself'
-
I do say "thank you" a lot, but I still don't say it enough. Thank you for asking!
-
I thank people, but I use "Thanks" instead of "Thank you." For some reason, I find "Thank You" awkward and unnatural feeling. I feel the same way about "Please."
-
I do. I was taught as a child to say please and thankyou and it has stayed with me over the years.
-
thank you for the question:)
-
Yes I do. I find it very impolite when people don't say 'thank you' or if they don't apologies. It's just as simple as saying a few words. Not that difficult.
-
Not any more or less than anyone else.
-
Yeah I do..
-
Yes I do, but I say I'm sorry all the time when there is nothing to be sorry for...that is one habit I need to stop....If you say I had a bad meal yesterday....I would say I'm sorry....LOL....
-
Yes, my parents raised me with manners, please and thank you
-
I say it hardly ever, except for when people give me information about something over the phone. I seem to be more polite with strangers.

I honestly cannot remember the last time I said (as in spoke out loud, not typed nor written) "thank you". Casually to strangers, I prolly say "thanks" a lil more often than average (whatever that is). At my casual workplace, I tend to try to feed the energy and say or type an emphatic "Excellent!" "Awesome!" "Good Deal!" "You are r0x!" "Sweet!", etc. It's so rare I'm in a formal event that I give a rat's ass about, I'd probably not deviate from the emphatic phrases if I thought it was something that I would feel is important if I gave a damn. In court or other formal situation where it matters *and* I give a damn, I'd go above and beyond the "thank you" and at least add the appropriate nomenclature at the end..."your honor" "sir" "ma'am" "Mr President" (of the corp I work for...not the other one), etc...oh, and I'd actually *mean* the level of respect I was trying to convey (hmmm that same sincerity or lack thereof would be true for the nonchalant "thanks" to strangers and emphatic replies to coworkers as well).
