  • You could try henna with lots of black walnut powder, if you're not allergic to walnuts, or 50% henna and 50% indigo. Both would give a dark brown color, the indigo would probably be darker while the walut would give a richer brown. For best results, I'd use henna only first, then a second dye of henna and another ingredient. When I wanted to get back to brown from blonde, before I went all natural, I had to dye my hair red first, then brown, so the brown would "stick" better. It worked, but it trashed my hair.
