If I was a gal {I'm not},and if I was impressed by him, then yes. If for whatever reason I thought of him as repulsive, indifferently, or any word with an negative connotation then I would not feel flattered. The short of it is we only feel flattered by the attention of others if we have positive feeling for them

kinda..but then i would laugh and let him know that he has no idea what he's getting himself into..i'm really weird and really hard to handle..so if i'm his type then he must be a saint..which he won't be..i never seem to attract saints
