Groceries...I bike. GREAT question, BTW.

medical insurance

Groceries. I take the bus so the price of gas affects my bus pass price but that's bearable. I gotta re-assess whether it's cheaper to buy tickets or a pass, but that's about all.
-
Groceries, because I eat health foods, and they have skyrocketed in price.
-
We are very lucky that my husbands company gave him a gas card years ago. I wouldn't have said groceries next. For us it's the electric bill.
-
My chevy truck is 6 years old now and i just went over 9000 miles on it. It only gets driven 10 days per year. But i do have my snowmobiles, motorcycles and lawnmowers. Even with all that, i only use about 80 gallons per year. So my food bill is the biggy.
-
They both get a big chunk these days but gas is hurting me more than food...right now anyway.
-
Neither. It's the idiots in Washington!
-
My work is driving...so it is gas...I go to the no frill grocery stores...if only they had no frill gas stations that you can get it for half the price....
-
It really is groceries.
-
since I never go anywhere, I would have to say groceries.
-
Groceries. But it's really the rent that's killing my bank account.
-
dont spend much on gas; i drive a Toyota Corolla and i rarely drive anywhere... so i fill it up every 2-3 weeks. I spend a normal amount on groceries, but my fiance and i eat out alot... like 3 times a week. so answer is groceries.
-
Groceries.
-
Huh? Neither. Filet mingon, swordfish, drive wherever/whenever.
-
Certainly not gasoline, prices keep dropping daily here. I will have to say groceries.
-
Both of those items are the smallest in our budget, and they haven't changed much lately. We buy our gas at the lowest price possible, since we have several discount choices available to us. Our grocery store allows a 20 cent per gallon discount for over $50 groceries, and it's very good for us. We can easily pay $50 for the type of groceries we buy.

Bad habits :)
-
all of the above..but prolly gas because if i dont go to work i cant even afford the measly amount of groceries i get every month
-

-
Groceries, as I don't have a car
-
When I took early retirement I calculated & budgeted fairly accurately for things like gas & groceries. What I didn't count on was the phenomenal 150%-200% increase per decade in home & auto insurance and City , county & State real estate & personal property taxes

The root cause of both problems is Democrats in high places. Happens every time.

I live in a big city, with excellent public transportation. We don't bother with a car any longer. And there are only two of us to feed now.

I don't drive so I guess it's a choice between bus fare and groceries for me. I only take a bus twice a month to do banking, and once a week to get groceries, thanks to Commissar Newsom's commie lockdown, so I no longer buy the outrageously priced AC Transit monthly bus pass. Now I just go for a 'day pass'. Doing this has cut my transit cost down by 60%. I spend $120 to $150 on groceries, so obviously food is way more.
-
Groceries. I don't drive at the moment.
-
Treating myself, but I have cut back on many things.
-
both. I need my car to get my groceries!
