My DVD recorder (DVD R +/-) on my computer does not recognize any blank DVD's so I can't copy anything onto them. I've tried the brands Dynex (+R) and memorex (-R). Do some blank DVD's just not work?? Thanks........

I bought a DVD burner but I have no software with it. How can I use it to copy files on a Windows XP system?

I am having trouble trying to burn dvds to play in my Sanyo DVW-7200. I'm using .avi files I've downloaded and converting them to .vob files than trying to burn them onto CompUSA DVD-R 4x - Media ID: AML 001. - 4.7 GB DVDS. I'm having absolutely no luck.

Why doesn't my burnt DVD play on my DVD player? I am using DVD+R discs on my HP laptop to burn DVDs.

Can i burn DVD movies using realplayer or will i need other software?
