I attended a church for their evening service, put the offering box in front, so when people past by to their seats, they could give, so after service around 9pm, they could consolidate and report the figure. Of course there are people who gives later, those who forget or came later. At least, there won't be a crowd. I guess collection of offerings timing is by the congregation majority preference. Probably some have to rush off after service. Some prefer after clearing their task of offering, they can worship God better. To each it's own. Some churches are at the centre timing, my church is towards ending of service. 😃
